Problem Note 43021: The SAS® System might not consider the DBKEY= data set option when you join a SAS data set and a DBMS table

The DBKEY= data set option specifies the column in which SAS should build WHERE clauses to search for matches in the database management system (DBMS) table. The match is based on the value that is stored in the SAS data set for the key column. However, if the SAS data set is indexed, this process might not occur. As a result, the entire DBMS table is retrieved from the database and is processed in the join within SAS.
Currently, the only workaround is to remove the index from the SAS data set.
